Scholarships
We're happy to support our community in many ways, including through our annual scholarship program. Each year, we choose four deserving recipients to receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Do you know a graduating senior going into the trades? TruChoice is a proud sponsor of the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Fund. You can apply for one of their trade or tool scholarships directly on their webpage.
What are the requirements?
All applicants must:
- Be high school seniors who will be attending a college, university, or technical school in the fall after graduation
- Be a TruChoice member or immediate family of a member
Applications need to include a personal essay and one recommendation letter.
How do you apply?
2026 college scholarship applications are now closed. The window for scholarship applications typically begins in February and runs through the end of March. We will announce the opening of our 2027 scholarship program on our website and in social media.
Applications are accepted by mail, email, or fax, or you may drop it off at one of our branches in Portland, Biddeford, and Buxton.
