Born in Poland, Maine, Colleen has lived in the state her entire life and doesn’t see herself ever leaving. While attending the University of Southern Maine, Colleen managed her fiancé’s family produce store for six years. After graduating with a double major in Marketing and Business Management, her first job out of college was in the Secondary Markets department for a large mortgage company. Colleen followed that with a job in lending at TruChoice. In April of 2018, Colleen was promoted to her current role as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
On the personal side, Colleen loves everything about being outside - from kayaking with her fiancé Nick and their dog Sadie, to snowmobiling, to jumping out of airplanes. Colleen definitely seeks adventure and a good challenge! She loves to go camping and always manages to find something to love in all four seasons in Maine.
About TruChoice: “I love the atmosphere! Everyone I work with is amazing and it’s the member love that makes it all worth it! It sounds cliché but when members come to me for guidance and I can help them achieve their goals it really is the best feeling. I want to not only help people reach their goals, but understand the foundation on HOW they are able to reach their goals or what they can do in the future to make their goals more attainable.”
Why mortgages? “I bought my house at a young age, and it was because I met with a loan officer who didn’t just push me into an application. She helped me understand every aspect of the buying process and showed me that it was possible! She really taught me something about homeownership and I want to be able to do the same for others.”
