Mortgage Loan Originator

This full-time position is located at our Operations Center in South Portland, ME. Travel throughout York and Cumberland counties will be necessary to support our branches and members.

The mission of the Mortgage Loan Originator is to cultivate long-lasting relationships with credit union members and the real estate community, to simplify and enhance the mortgage process, and to be our highly-trusted main point of contact for the valued members we serve. The additional qualities we will be looking for in our candidates are: a clear foundation of honesty and integrity, a solid work ethic, and a great aptitude for working with the public. The ability to build and maintain a referral network, as well as an understanding of residential lending, will be a huge plus!

Pay for performance- a base salary plus commission

Branch Experience Coordinator

If you enjoy working with a team and taking care of those around you, we want to hear from you! TruChoice Federal Credit Union is looking for a Branch Experience Coordinator to join our team. Your mission is to ensure physical security through observation and adherence to established procedure, and provide a centralized and continuous resource for concerns involving safety and security. This role also includes the coordination of all credit union facilities maintenance. We’re looking for someone outgoing with solid critical thinking skills, an attention to detail, and a cool head in all circumstances. This position is entry level, so no prior experience is necessary, but is a plus.

  • Serves as a branch greeter to ensure a safe experience for members and guests
  • Operational oversight of security systems and procedures
  • Coordinate/deliver annual safety and robbery training
  • Coordinate emergency responses to all security events
  • Maintains branch access controls
  • Addresses security incident report investigations and provides detailed reports
  • Coordinates vendors for facilities related issues.
  • Coordinates periodic maintenance and inspections
  • Coordinate and be the point of contact with grounds keeping vendors

Collections Support Specialist

If you enjoy working with a team and the challenge of finding creative solutions to assist those in the most of need, we want to hear from you. TruChoice Federal Credit Union is looking for a Collections Specialist to work in our Operations Center in South Portland, ME. Your mission is to support the daily functions of the collections department. This can range from working on a spreadsheet to phone calls with the membership to researching loan documents and everything in between.

We are looking for someone who loves to assist others through difficult times and enjoys working closely with a team to find successful outcomes for both sides. A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a plus.
