Notary Public
As a TruChoice member you have access to free Notary Public services. Each of our branches has Notaries available.
Routing Number
Our routing number is 211288307 for all direct deposits and ACH transactions. *please note that our routing number for Wires is different (see wire transfers section)
Direct Deposit
Setting up direct deposit? You'll need the TruChoice routing number (211288307) and your checking account number. If you don't have that number handy, you can contact us and we would be happy to get that for you! You can also send a secure message from inside of Online Banking, and we can get the info to you that way. You can do a direct deposit into your savings account as well, by using the same routing number and your full member number - just make sure to mark it as a 'savings' account and not a 'checking' account, or your deposit might return due to mismatched information.
Funds Transfers
Member to Member:
Looking to transfer funds to another member? You can instantly move funds right in online banking, using the transfer feature - just choose 'another member' from the 'Transfer To' menu. You'll need to know the member number, suffix and their last name. Funds are moved immediately and there is no cost.
Person to Person (P2P) Transfers:
Looking to transfer funds to an outside financial institution but don't want/need to do a wire? No need to reach for Paypal or Venmo, you can use our 'Pay Anyone' feature in online banking! Just go to 'Pay Anyone' under the 'Pay and Transfer' section. You'll need the name and phone number or email address of the recipient. Once they are notified of the pending transfer, they'll need to set up their banking info on the secure site (don't worry, it's quick, easy and safe!). Funds typically transfer in 2-3 business days.
Wire Transfers
Wire transfers take the hassle out of sending money locally and internationally. Wire transfers are a secure way to transfer large sums of money from one bank account to another. It is also considered one of the safest ways to send money internationally. Processing fees do apply when sending and receiving wired funds. Please see fee schedule for further details.
BEWARE - there are wiring scams. Never accept a check from someone who asks you to then wire all or some of the money back to them. Chances are good the check is a fake.
Sending an Outgoing Wire
To send an outgoing wire, you can call TruChoice during business hours at 207.772.0808 or stop by any of our branch locations. Outgoing wire requests received before 3:00pm will be wired the same day. Always call the receiving institution to get their specific wiring instructions. Also be prepared to provide the following information:
- Your name
- Your social security number
- Name, address, phone number and ABA or routing number of the financial institution receiving the wire
- Account number you are depositing into
- Name and address of the individual(s) receiving the funds
Receiving an Incoming Wire
To receive an incoming wire, the institution sending the funds will need the following information:
- Receiving Bank: TRICORP FCU (ABA 2112-9166-6)
- Further Credit To: TruChoice FCU (ABA 2112-8830-7)
- Final Credit To: your account number
Life Insurance
Low-Cost Life Insurance
As a member of TruChoice, you have access to optional low-cost life insurance. This special program provides families with additional insurance coverage, but it is not designed to replace any other life insurance you already have.
Accidental Death Insurance
We also offer optional group accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage. As a member, you can enroll for $4,000 in coverage at no cost to you. Additional insurance can be purchased at low group rates.
Premiums are deducted conveniently from your savings account.
