Why complicate it?

IRA's

Saving for education or retirement can be stressful – but at TruChoice, it doesn’t have to be. Invest simply with the following options from TruChoice.

Traditional IRAs

This tax-deferred personal retirement plan was made more attractive by the Taxpayer Relief Act, enabling more people to deduct contributions and allowing certain penalty-free withdrawals.

Roth IRAs

The Roth IRA is a safe and easy way to plan for the future with potential for tax-free withdrawals. Although contributions to a Roth IRA are not tax-deductible, in some circumstances withdrawals may be tax-free and penalty-free.

Coverdell Education Savings Accounts

These accounts are a smart way to save for a child's higher education. As a parent or other interested person, you may be able to establish an account for a child under the age of 18. Although non-deductible, you can contribute up to $2,000 per child, per year. Withdrawals are tax-free and penalty-free in some circumstances.

Funds in your accounts at TruChoice are insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.  TruChoice provides additional share insurance covering an additional $250,000. Certain IRAs are insured up to $250,000.  Copies of the NCUA brochure "Your Insured Funds" are available at each TruChoice office and are also available by mail upon request.
